Hmmmm... maybe the OD ISN'T for his Bogner? For another amp, or for just nailing different tones? Or maybe he's like me and just wants to spend his money meaninglessly...

Whatever the case, get a TS-9 and send it to John. John worked a miracle on my DS-1, I'd trust him with my life. Hell, I'd let him give me a lobotomy.

            Too much information Joe....LOL

I wouldn't thing MRID would need a pedal with such an incredible amp? Using a tube screamer with that amp, would be like putting ketchup on a primo filet mignon!

Re: In need of a really nice overdrive...

How about the H20 pedals you just bought? That red one may be a bit hot, but you could dial it in to do quite a bit. The Shiva's clean channel is similar to a Hiwatt/Twin
and the OD is like a plexi with as much gain as a Jubilee, so most good OD's will sound perfect with it.

Those last few posts by 59 Paul, about Stratdeluxer97's modded 808 Reissue, sounds pretty good to me. The Coldfusion is a clean boost with heavier gain on tap than a Klon. It's a very loud pedal, so you normally run the OD and volume set very low.
One of these days, I need to find a place with all the Carl Martin pedals, so I can give them all a try. So far, my favorite pedal companies are T.Rex, H.B.E., Klon, Banzai, and Fulltone. My friend Todd, from revolutionguitar, is going to be a dealer for a new company, Nick Greer. I'm excited to try those out, when he gets his shipment.
