    I agree with Chris.
Why settle for the JCM800 just because it's in your budget and is "supposed" to be killer, and after you get it, regret the one that got away, when you can just wait, get the better amp, and then use the JCM800 to fill in any gaps, which is what I did.
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

      You guys are too convincing

The problem with the Rivera guy is that he's very hard to get a hold of, I don't even know if he wants a trade. When I call him I get his mailbox/voicemail and I can't mail him. Just imagine the JCM800 being sold and the Rivera guy not wanting a trade, that'll leave me empty handed. You guys now have me hanging towards the knucklehead

Tranny or not, I love the sound of the SL-X. Anyway, out of the bunch the Knucklehead is the absolute winner. The only negative side is: you're here in Europe so it is pretty expensive to service if broken (a fellow has one and as after his one smoked out he said the Knuck contains many over-this-world major components) but the tone IS worth.

ALRIGHT!!! Just earned myself 200 bucks but it did cost me my Ibanez. I got a mail from a guy my age who was really gassing for it and he offered me a USA Tele with 200 euros. I now have enough money to buy the JCM800, buuut I might be able to get the Rivera Knucklehead Reverb in one and a half month from now. The guy from the JCM800 said he could get more money, so I'm not going to beg him to sell it to me (might not even work anyway). I might however be on my way to Tone heaven with the Knucklehead.

I'll tell you how it worked out!

BTW, you can check out my Knucklead playing heavier stuff at www.twilight-odyssey.com ... for those of you skeptical about using a Rivera in a high gain situation!
