  • My Gretsch and I (VIDEOS)

This is my Gretsch Nashville 6120. I would like to get your opinions and thoughts about this guitar. It looks nice, yeah, but it's not the easiest guitar to play.

In case you want to get more info about the videos, double click on them or go to my Youtube channel. Hope you like the songs and feel free to add a comment or criticism. Thanks!

You'll man up eventually, I used to hate doin bends and playin up high on my 5120 and now i'm doin full steps all over the place with flats on it

I've always dug the 6120's though, the dynasonic ones and the filtertron ones always blow me away. I wish mine had an ebony board, they're so smoooooth

Also, I dig your chet atkins type Misty arrangement, you should check out these 2. Wes doesn't do the head too many times and it's with a combo but there's some sweet f'in fills in there

Personnel: Wes Montgomery (guitar); Wynton Kelly (piano); Paul Chambers (bass); Jimmy Cobb (drums).Recorded live at the Half Note, New York, New York and Van...

Joe Pass (January 13, 1929 May 23, 1994). MISTY:Guitar Arrangement of Joe Pass from The Genius Of Joe Pass .

          Cool!
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

Great playing and tone... for me if the guitar isn't comfortable to play tho, I find I gravitate to my instruments that play better (course they sound great too)...

Very nice!! Have always wanted a 6120 double-cut. Dig the old crisp sound as much as the new crunch.

                  Really great playing, btw
