            I could do purple.
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

The phrase "Carvin is calling" is funny, because they're the kings of catalogs. I love getting them. I've had some Carvin stuff with varying results, but I can say that second hand Carvins are a real bargain for what you get.

The style of Carvin you want/bought is one of the good products, because just like every other company, there's gems and turds. When buying Carvin products, it's a good idea to bounce the idea off forum members first, because in California there's showrooms, where we can try it out. In most places, you're at the mercy of the catalog, and it ALL looks good on paper at Carvin, but there's some things you'd really like to try before buying.

I like the semi hollow teles they make.

Speaking the truth here.. I bought a really great 30w tube combo amp from one of their showrooms once when I lived in So Cal.. so when I moved to WA state, I ordered one of their 100w heads.. ugh.. it was a "turd", but managed to trade it off..
