    I tried a buffalo horn pick for a while. Didn't suck/wasn't awesome.

      I've never used one but I'm pretty sure Billy Gibbons uses a peso as a guitar pick exclusively. he gets pretty good tone I think

        Similarly, Brian May uses both finger style or picks with a sixpence coin.
