Sweet score. I love Strats and I especially love Strats that dare to be a little different without becoming Charvel or something else.

One of the best scenes ever, must've been amazing to be in and around that era Detroit.

Sure was. The best time to grow up. An explosion of youth, music, and culture. Back then you could see any band for $3 to $5, of course, you usually had to sit on the floor in an old building. FM radio was in it's infancy and still underground; the DJ's were hippies and college students and played the best music. There was a purity to that time, before things got corrupted and so commercial. The MC5's chants of cultural revolution were echoed by so many kids. Everything was changing so fast.

Does it come in a Confederate model?

A confederate model? Really? I'm sure there's a million of them on ebay complete with Lynard Skynard autographs.

Finally got my hands on one today, niiiice.

I have to say it is far better than I expected, really solid build and feel. I like the vintage frets on it too.

+1... It doesn't do anything for me either. It would look better without the middle humbucker though.
