    I used to use much heavier strings than I do these days and it was even worse then but even now if I do a 2 to 3 hour gig I'll kill off 2 dozen picks give or take a few...

    The extra heavy picks do last a little longer but they are harder to find for some reason!

      I tried dozens of different types of materals, some were good and some not so much but I just keep coming back to cellouid...it just sounds "right" to me.

        Celluloid picks do wear out quick but once you heat up on stage nothing sticks to your fingers better.

          Yep right is the word, and yep they do not feel slippery either!
          Use them on acoustics as well, and there I use the medium....uh wears out even faster....
