Ahh...nice choice. 335's just about always seem to sound good, something about that design. I love to see a band with a guy playing a 335; shows he's not following the crowd and odds are he knows how to use it well. If I walk in and see a guy with a Strat, it's 50/50 whether he has any idea how to EQ it. With a 335, I know I'm not in for a night of piercing, thin tones.
I saw a local blues band Saturday night, guitarist with a SSS Strat, playing clean, mostly on the bridge PU...OMG. He started off with a large, enthusiastic crowd, but by the second set, he was clearing people out of the place. There's limits to how much treble the human ear can endure. Apparently he found it.
