          Thanks Peter. I too love Purple Heart. Also that Morado wood can have some amazing grain patterns. And for extreme variety available from one type of wood, Canary Wood can't be beat. It can go from a plain light yellow with essentially no visible grain, to extremely heavily patterned and totally gorgeous.

            Okay. Now I see why you got all narky a month ago about "mods" and "builds" and I apologise for my guitar tomfoolery attempting to equate itself with your actual hard work.

                  Similar color. That one is achieved from stain/paint. Mine is the natural color of Purpleheart wood (with a dark burst stain around the perimeter).
