Re: The Guitar You Wish You’d Bought Earlier

I wish I'd gotten into Telecasters sooner. I just can't stay away from them now.

They feel field eight to me. I had a MIM which was absolutely gorgeous. It just wasn’t the sound for me. I think they sound great when I hear other people playing them though.

Ha! I have no idea either. Lol. It must have been a spell check thing. I think I meant to type that they feel “foreign”to me.

I began on Les Pauls, and played them pretty much exclusively at least for the first five years I played electric. I wish I had got into superstrats earlier: I suspect Floyds would have been a more integrated part of my playing then.

New guy here. I went to get another guitar. Someone I was with noticed a Italia single cut. Made by Trev Wilkson. He makes Fret King, Vintage, Italia, and Wilkson guitar parts. All guitars made in Korea. I read a interview with him and he said Korea. But some still say's they are made in China. So he lied then? It looks like something Eastwood would make. Korina body, fiberglass finnish, Wilkson humbuckers, Paizo under the bridge, 2 jacks can run 2 amplifiers at the same time, and very heavy. I like it and would like a few more from them.

                  Mahogany body.

Wenge neck, with a Macassar Ebony fretboard. Those woods do not require a finish, so the neck is unfinished. Feels fast.

Oh OK I get what you mean now.

Feeling foreign and sounding better when other people play them - that's basically how I feel about 5150s.

I love Travis Pickin'/Chickin Pickin on a 12 String Acoustic but never owned one when younger -just the random studio interaction was my only experience.

There's so much sound and fullness to made on one -extremely fun

Wish I had owned one as a kid.

This is a pretty unique design, huh? I like that companies are still trying new things like this. Do you know what the other 2 knobs do?

Should have bought my Godin Exit 22 years ago, the neck has been shaped around my hands!!!
I also like the 24.75" scale length. A beauty also

Tone and volume. I can run 2 jacks at the same time. 2 amps at the same time. A clone of supro before Supro was reissued.

Oh yeah! So a tone and volume for each jack. Very unique. How does it sound through 2 amps?
