    Well, I may have been a little low but not THAT far off. Maybe $5000 would have been better. If the practical range of costs of common new and used guitars is up to say $3000, then $5000 (for a car) would be the same ratio of cars costing up to $30,000. But the cost really has very little to do with the point I was making, right?!

      That's a very excellent choice. I have one of the original Ultras that was my number one for many years. I often pick it up and am stll amazed at what a really fine playing and sounding instrument it is (I have replaced the original pups, which back then were really bad, with GFS Mean 90 in the bridge and SD Pearly Gates in the neck).

        Yeah I noticed the new ones come with Probuckers
        I really like them in my Florentine

        And I'm kinda into this mag / acoustic thing right now
        It just adds another voice to the mix

            I have an Epi LP with the new ProBuckers. They aren't bad sounding at all. I have no intention of replacing them.
