Maybe its because your used to the 'precision' of a digital delay? Personally I hate the sound of repeats being the exact same, I like the roll off analogue gives you on repeats.

That could VERY well be. I may be expecting what Im used to hearing and not embracing what makes this pedal special. I thank you for mentioning it as it didnt cross my mind before. Because of all the love this pedal is getting, I was expecting an improved version of what Im used to.
