I'd have to recommend our own Catalina Chorus for that, especially since you can vary the depth of the effect with your picking.

    Chorus for metal

    Hey guys,

I'm interested in changing my tone a lot. I love Alexi Laiho's, Ritchie Faulkner's, and Zakk Wylde's tones, and I know that they all use chorus in front of their distorted amps to get it like that. Obviously, I'm not going to get their exact sound, since I can't afford Marshalls or ENGLs, but I like how it sounds. What chorus pedal would you reccomend for this application? I use a Randall RG100 and will most likely leave the pedal on at all times, but turn it down so it is more of an accent like Faulkner, rather than making up my entire tone like Zakk.

I'm interested in the Boss CH1, MXR Wylde, MXR Analog (can't remember the numbers in it, its the blue one), TC Corona, and EHX Small Clone. Others reccomendations are great too.

    Thanks in advance
