Or, as LLL said, just put a battery in it.
Makes sense. I’ll probably get to this Thursday night.

I though LLL was kidding about the battery….no?

I did exactly that for my amp. I couldn't handle how big the foot switch that came with it was so I made my own.

Works great, and it has blue LEDs! Everyone knows that the blue ones sound the best.

Yes, the battery is a joke.

Last time I made an amp foot switch I used a Hoover vacuum cleaner switch. It worked perfect and was smooth. Those switches are heavy duty too.

Brian, your pedal is upside down.. That's the issue.

your xmas gift is in the mail BTW.

Now that I look at it, it seems the gauge wire you used may be too thin.

A signal with that much voltage on it needs a hearty wire.

You definitely need at least 4-6 AWG wire in there.

It’s funny, that’s the original usage of them! Then someone thought they were tough enough to be stepped on, and a new market was born.
                              Oh no.....

                              Oh Yeah!

This is exactly what I did just did and the pedal is now working as it should. Thank you. (Thanks to all that helped)

That said, I think I just blew a speaker. Lol
