Stop whoring up your pedals with velcro and adhesive and get one of these:

What fails, at least here in Florida, is the adhesive. Pedals flop around in the case in a goopy mess. That's why I switched to Dual Lock (which uses better adhesive) or zip ties.

At one point I avoided velcro by using twist ties as hold downs (only works with boards that are an open frame). Granted you have to cut the ties if you change pedal arrangements, but they're cheaper than velcro and don't leave residue.

I use the loop on the board. When I am only using one or two pedals the hook grabs carpeted stages and doesn't slide around.
