Ok when the music shop installed it...btw i have a 2004 SG Standard, and my measurements on the height from the top of the JB to the strings..are like half an inch, isnt this a little low for a bridge pickup to be sitting? just wondering

yes it is. press the e strings down at the last fret, the distance to the top of the pup should be around 3/16". thats an estimate, some people like it as close as possible while others like it further, but thats a good starting point

im someone hesitant to adjust it myself lol...and sorry, im a bit new of the technical aspects of a guitar..but i can play it realy well but anyways, could u maybe give me a guide on how to raise it on both sides accurately and without screwing it up.

sure, its easy. get a small screwdriver.
on each side of the pup ring there will be three screws. the two at the corners hold the pup ring down to the guitar, the one in the middle holds the pup and adjusts the height.
turning the screw clockwise will move the pup towards the strings.

use three stacked up picks (like a stack of pancakes) as your guide. with the pup at the right height (in this case 3/16th" or so) and the string pressed down at the 22nd the gap between the string and the top of the pup should be the same as that stack of picks
