    That's a weird measurement! Generally:

    49-50mm = "SH", Gibson, "G", "R" or "Standard" spaced

52-53mm = "TB", Fender, Floyd, "F" or "Trem" spaced

Sonds like Gibson Nashville bridge measurements? Either will work fine. I prefer trembuckers just because I like the way the strings line up better than the way they do on SHs, but I am a touch OCD.

SHs will line up over the outsides of the centers and TBs over the inside of center slightly. Keep in mind that TBs have bigger bobbins and might require filing out the pickup ring or pickgaurd a little bit. TB bobbins are about 1/8 of an inch wider overall. Duncan always provides a wider pickup ring for them but it is matte black and may not match what you already have.

It matters only if you suffer from OCD.
