&^*&^ dammmit! Just tell me the effing vitals already. If it is that dammm obscure, maybe that's why no one is buying it! Or maybe, just maybe I might be able to get someone who is interested to buy one or two.

    Sheesh. Simple effing question.

Dang, Ace, lighten up a little. The problem is that the specs WERE fairly obscure. Here was a summary one user posted from scattered details in a previous thread:

      Basic specs:
      - humbucker, black matte, four conductors,
      - dual coil, neck & bridge position versions,
      - Alnico-II, 42AWG winding,
      - series/split/parallel possibility,
      - one coil parallel axis, one coil blade,
      - moderate and tasty, voiced for versatility,
      - open and crunchy, focus on upper mids,
      - Hawkbucker style blade.

      DC Resistance:
      - neck: Red and Green 3.81k Ω, White and Black 3.78k Ω
      - bridge: Red and Green 4.01k Ω, White and Black 3.92k Ω

The tone is intended to be medium hotness, open and crunchy and primarily focused on versatility.
EQ-wise there'll be a focus on the upper mids with the primary aim being good articulation and definition, even under heavy gain.
When split, the pickup should go into an open and airy and harmonically rich lesser output tone. It should not be boomy nor have shrill high end.

Image (pickup will be matte black, not gloss):

Demo guitar specs (with 500K pots and a 0.047 tone cap.):
      - basswood body,
      - bolt-on maple neck,
      - rosewood fretboard,
      - 25.5" scale,
      - locking Floyd Rose tremolo.

      Price (Custom Shop orders): $160 (single), $300 (balanced set);
Price (SD Forum users): $110 (single), $200 (balanced set).

And here was the demo video:

yup, that's it. fuglybucker. Kind of an oddball pickup. There are days I love it, there are days I loath it. It lacks a bit of bite and crunch for my taste, but I love the fuggin ugly look of it.

I also love the look of it. I also love the sound. I've got the neck version and it performs just as described. Very clear and articulate, almost an acoustic quality to it, even EQ, not boomy at all, nice distinct mids. It was a little too bright for my taste so I put a 250k vol pot in for my neck pup and now it sounds gorgeous. My Fuglybucker neck pup measures right in at 8k ohms in series.

Aceman, sorry we were fooling around so much...didn't mean to make you upset.
