Yeah, the Mag or StagMag give you that single-coil Straty sound when you have them split. As a humbucker it is full-sounding.

You can push the rods to where you want them to be if you press gently. The rods are encased in the bobbin like a humbucker slug and aren't part of the structure of the coil.
