    Your right. With guitars, everyone wants to chime in with their opinion of how their gear works for them, but everyone forgets the fact that different people play differently. So if it sounds good for you and it works with your playing style then I don't see why you wouldn't do it.

      +1. PU's vary depending on the wood and guitar design they're in, along with all the other things in the signal chain: amp, speakers, tubes, pedals, cord, etc. Many of us are looking for different tones anyways. The 'right' PU is a personal thing.
