Re: Pickups You Can't Bring Yourself To Change

The pu that is cant let go for good is the JB! even if i take it out and put it away i always wind up putting it back in a guitar. if i have it in the guitar for a while i get tired of it,but if it is out of the guitar i start to miss it!
it is like it wont let me go? HOPING the new Perpetual Burn model will take its place and end this madness! LOL

Re: Pickups You Can't Bring Yourself To Change

The Custom8/Air Norton combo in my Ibanez LP copy has been perfect for that guitar since day 1. I have almost thought of selling it a few times but when I plug back in with those pickups I have to stop myself.

My MIM Strat is still fully stock and likely won't be touched. It was my first guitar and it just sounds great. Even a couple buddies with American Fenders have commented on its tone and playability.
