Re: SLash set with High gain

Here's a link with a lot of neck pickup. The second clip is about as fast as we play. Sorry, but I don't do any sweep picking. It a technique that I never bothered to master.

We'll be recording next week. When I start to get the tracks back, I'll be sure to post some of them up- so you can hear better recording of the Slash set.

Just proves the fact that you don't need high output pickups with modern high gain amps.

High output pickups have their place. The feel different under the fingers. My other Les Paul has a Custom in the bridge. Love the way it feels and sounds. That night I just started with the Slash set, and felt no need to change it up.

It is definitely a good sound. Looking forward to hearing them.
