I didn't realize it at the time, but he was sporting this pickup in his purple Bolin Tele on tour last summer. Gotta say...his tone was bangin'

He used that guitar for most of the set before switching off to the fuzzy guitar with a custom TV Jones and then his red SG prototype with an SD Antiquity in the bridge. Sounded like Billy the whole time, but that purple Tele rocked pretty hard.

Any info yet on these "Bangers" (price, eta, etc)?

that's cool but it doesn't matter what billy plays. his rig uses a big graphic eq to make everything sound like pearly

Very true, I've heard his live sound is heavily processed these days. Not sure if I could convince myself to spend any more than a regular Pearly Gates anyway. I was just curious about these because there isn't much info online and I figure SOMEONE here will pony up for one
