If you like the EMG SA, the Blackout single coils should excite you. There is more dynamic range there, and they respond more to picking dynamics. Both modes will keep up with the regular Blackouts humbuckers, but if you have the Blackouts Metal (redesigned version of the Livewires Heavy Metal) then you'll want to use the hot setting. You can also put a mini-potentiometer between the two pins and customize the output level. Once you have it set, you can also replace it with a fixed resistor. You could run it to one of the pots on the guitar, or a mini toggle, etc.
