To be honest... for lead playing it sounds OK but compared to the TB-6 in my Jackson the sound iI can get pityful.

All guitars are differnt. Some RGs sound like crap. Some sound great. The presteige RGs are mostly mahogony. Yours is probably bass.

Twangy is good as long as it is bright and full.

If its a japanese RG then it may sound good. The korean ones sound pretty thin.

I think the tech just needed to reverse two wires.
