I like P90s but I'm not really looking at vintage tones, except maybe for the neck position.
For example, if I'm buying a "real" P90 for the bridge, it is most likely going to be a Custom P90 or whatever "hot" version of a P90 is.
It's a personal preference. So...
It doesn't really matter so much to that it my next pickup purchase would be "real" P90, but something "close enough" and hopefully hotter in the bridge position.
I've been looking at Les Paul Special DC and put some stacked P90s in there, or...
