    ^ THIS. I have a CC in my Jackson, but it's a standard spacing version. The outside strings were a bit murky and weak, so I adjusted the screw poles in a 'smile' kind of setup, opposite of the neck curve, and it totally leveled the sound across all strings and made them equal in output. Amazing how well the Custom line works in any/every situation.
