      I do see a ton of dead skin cells. Next time I buy used pickups I am hitting them with Lysol, no joke.

        I like buying cheap stuff as much as anyone, but I must admit I'm a little grossed out by those pickups from people who never wipe down their guitars all covered in grime and rust, LOL.

          SD production pickup hex screws from the past few years are made by YFS. The ones without marking are USA-made and typically reserved for Custom Shop orders, though I've seen them use the YFS ones in a pinch.

          Also, not all hex screws are created equal in terms of their alloy/carbon content. Still, you might like the results, depending on what you're going for.

            The ones I bought are supposedly 12.9 grade. But I don't know how that translates to the "1018" thing... if at all.
