    Nah. The C5 isn't scooped. It's just has much less mid 'push' than a CC or a JB. Seems to have less output than either.

    Yep, this combo really works well for this guitar, and this cheap ibanez is quickly becoming my #1.

    i'll second that, i put a C5 in my acrylic LP and it was NIGHT AND DAY!!

          It sounds like it has less output because it's heavier in the frequencies our ears are less sensitive to.
