    Testing my new Apogee Duet and SM57 with Garageband. I'm using my Suhr Modern and OD10se+ into a Randall 2x12" with Celestion 70/80's. I am at a fairly low...


    Got a killer deal on an Apogee Duet the other day so I picked up a brand new SM57 to go with it. This is just my rendition of the end solo in Comfortably Numb. I had the volume on the OD100se+ at a little better than bedroom volume but still quite low. Using Garageband, until I buy Logic...I am done with ProTools and the Digi003. I can fit this Duet in my laptop bag!

    I found the Apogee Duet on Kijiji, some kid's dad bought it for him thinking it was a fancy iPod. I got it brand new in the box for $250 cdn.

    I am using my Modern with an AHB3 in the bridge and the Koko Boost on the mid boost setting.

          damn, i shouldve had to record this solo for my band's rewrite of it. very impressive. and far better than me. haha

            I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .
