Re: Latest recording - pop/electronica
i liked the tones you used for leads.
two things i would recommend: bass. i didn't hear much, if any bass, and it just didn't give it the low drive that it needed. it felt slightly empty. secondly, it seemed to lack tensions in chord structure, which made it boring if you aren't paying strict attention.
overall it had a fun feel, and the vocals made it cool.
thumbs up.

I liked that. Like a cool summer tune to put on in the morning. Even my wife agreed"The amp has been making a lot of noise and acting funky, perhaps it may be aware of the amount of rock it's about to be punished with" ~GearMannDude
"30 days of dating doesn't seem like cheating. It seems like legitimate playing the field, and you happened to catch a pop fly..." ~Aceman
"If all else fails, wank, fall asleep, come back to it the next day." ~GuitarStv
"The crowd has no perception of tone...only timing and flow." ~Glassman

Re: Latest recording - pop/electronica
hey guys, thanks for listenin! i actually agreed on your thoughts about the low end, so i went back and EQ'd a bit for more emphasis on the bass. Its a little more solid.

Re: Latest recording - pop/electronica
also, about the chord structure thing - i actually love to use all kinds of wacky and interesting chords, and most of my songs are chord heavy. but this is the exception. this song is basically minimalist on the music side, with the vocal melody carrying any variety. but hey, its a pop song - who cares! hahahttp://www.myspace.com/wildcatdotdotdot
