  • 6/8 steel string solo

This is a song by a wonderful singer i'm working with. I liked the 6/8 feel so i made a solo guitar arrangement.

Sounds like a bit of Leo Kottke influence. I like it. I really want to hear it with the vocal track.
I want more me in my tone.

Very nice. Reminds me a LOT of Mother Superior.

Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

yep its a newly written song, so its not been recorded yet with vocals and a full band etc. This was just a quick solo guitar arrangement cos i was charting the melody and chords for the rest of the band, but you can hear her singing style here:

Very nice. I love the 6/8 feel. In my mind I can hear Ray LaMontagne's voice over those changes.

Alnico 6/8. That's what you need.

Very nice playing and the melody is super cool.
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .
