I haven't been on the forum too much lately, and I'm too lazy to do a topic search.

Does anyone here have any experience with Ohmstudio? It is essentially a cloud based DAW that allows you to collaborate with other musicians online.

How does it compare, feature wise, with the DAW you use on your desktop or in your studio?

Apparently, it will not host outside VSTs ... so how are its plugins?

My understanding is that you wouldn't be able to actually jam online due to latency issues, but that you can be "in session" with other users to complete a project.

    Thoughts .... comments ...... vodka?
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

Sounds interesting. Sounds like its best use would be to compete your tracks locally and upload if you can't integrate vsts. Can you author a song file and stow vsts with it maybe?
