I have a pre-loaded SC-101 pickguard. Mine are all 52 mm.

I don't think I've ever heard a pup described as "scratchy." I wonder how that equates to tone.

Given that I'm a "tech", more than a musician, I'd be the exact opposite. My wiring scheme would probably be a nightmare for anyone else to decipher. I've never owned an HSH, but I did rewire one, (old Peavey Horizon), for a friend once. He kept it stock, but I had fun imaging the wiring schemes...

It's interesting how we all hear pups differently. (I know . . . amps, guitar, etc.) I don't think I'd ever use "sparkly" to describe a 59n. But I do love it.

One teeny oddity. There's some metallic "fuzz" on the G string neck pole piece. I'll have to work to get that off. You may be able to see it in the 1st pic.

Wheehoo! Arrived around 10 am this morning. Been playing it since. All it needed was a tune. Outstanding packaging. Double boxed, with the inside box wrapped with heavy-duty bubble wrap. Ran my thumb and forefinger down the frets and it's close to a pro setup. One or two stuck out a bit, but not...

I can't believe I did this just a week before Christmas. MF's SDOTD was this in an exclusive Candy Apple Red for $90 off. (Still there for another 19 hours.) But I didn't want red. I checked Sweetwater, and they had all the standard colors for just $10 more. I clicked on the Sherwood Green one...

There's something about a 59. Especially the set. If I ever end up keeping only one guitar, it will be the one with the 59's.
