Re: the best JB mods ever.. :) i dont know guys.. i'v tried so many pickups before, just fell in love with this setup.. some pickup do sound great with specific kind of wood.. and its amazed me A2 didnt cut the power too much.. JB still screams... p/s: i'm a stock JB fans till today... :)

I think this is the best mods that u can do on a JB.. well atleast i LIKE it a lot.. ol' JB with Alnico2 and hex polepiece on the bass side.. and plug in straight to Marshall JCM900.. before this i was using Gibson 300K vol pot.. but it get even better with CTS 500K (480K)

do you guys know what type of material for the polepiece..? the chrome 'screw' type must be from nickel right..? but is ceramic type exsist..?? button like in Invader pickup. will changing pole-piece chance the pickup tone..?
