He sent me a Gibson Slug coil from a 47 [ I think ]. It arrived today.

[ pole pieces ] I pushed a couple of them out with a bit of pressure. The others I extracted with some pliers from the protruding end of the pole pieces, with a bit of twisting and pulling. They slid out pretty easily. I had to hone the holes a bees dick of width. It has the FeO magnets in it now and is in the pup with the DiMarzio coil [ with Neos ]

Initially it works the same; Cuts back the dominance of the Neo and thickens it out. It retains the quality of the Neo but adds a thickness at the same time. The difference between the Epi coil and the Gibson is ; The Gibson makes it a clearer definition, so overall this appears to have worked a treat!
I found a good string deal online too. In Adelaide.
Hi , just been looking at your old post about the Vox AC4 head you built . It's gorgeous and I'll have it in mind when I do mine , but the part that intrigued me was the circuit tweaks you did. Can you tell me what they were ? It was obviously a lengthy process of trying different values and as a newbie builder I doubt if I would know where to start. Anyway , many thanks for the aspirational pics , all the best
go to the un intelligence group. there is an epic plan in the works. Your participation would be aprreciated.
i'm hearing you, i like to keep pedals on top of the amps as well. don't trust these long cables, you see. they're always getting caught up the the wheels of my chair

Yeah i saw that thread ----- Me thinks he's not quite the novice with the woodworking. He has an awful lot of the right equipment.
I will have a bag of a dozen thanks, or are you doing them by the pound?

Apparently you deleted a good one, that no one copy and pasted but kept reffering to.
    you're a worry, neil

that folding item wazz has linked you to is interesting...

Let's talk about farting. It's so politically correct (i.e. not racist, homophobic, religious or political, everybody does it and it's expression at it's purest {well, apart from pooping yer pants}).

I had a fart sandwich for lunch. Later some gas built up and baked beans flew out of my bottom. Not quite a 'reverse fart', as in the latter case, things can be sucked in to the posterior.

It's just all so much good, clean fun. Public farting is becoming a dying art.
There is absolutely NO WAY i would ever be sarcastic about anything that is telescopic or folds up. I have telescopic fishing rods, a collapsible cup, a telescopic bedside clock/lamp, fold-up scissors, a wind-up clothes line and various other things i forget right now. All i need now is a telescopic penis and a folding guitar.

Finished the scanning at 5 a.m., cooked last night's tea which i will eat at 6 a.m. while watching Thunderbirds, and then i will burn the scanned photo's onto dvds and go for lunch with the mama bear and sister. All i really wanna do is work on my Les Paul build.
