Thanks for coming down to the gig, sorry you weren't feeling well, I hope that has all improved now. Jimmy is Peter Cupples' cousin, so there's clearly a certain degree of vocal ability in that family! Jim has been struggling with some kind of bronchial virus for the past few weeks, so he was running on about 70%. In full flight, he's quite amazing. Anyway, hope you enjoyed our little time machine, maybe you can catch another show when we get back into it in '09.

This was a Hondo, I think. It was what I'd term a "normal" headless body. I saw Johnny Winter around 92, and he used a headless, but I was too far back to see a name.

I brought this one to a blues jam, and the drummer, who is an actual regional touring, just said "What the F is that?".

I wish it was mine. They'd be easy to travel with!

not sure re real erle or hondo, I think I know what you're referring to. I'll have to ask...

I like those headless gtrs, used a friend's Earlwine once, just felt cool. Great on a crowded stage, too!
