So I get that the Jazz and the A2P are the same pickups different magnets. Is the Slash an overwound A2P Jazz? If So the bridge with a magnet swap to A5 seems to be a good match for a Jazz neck.

Re: 59s with Alnico 4 have you done it? All I know is a set of Duncan 59s with Alnico 4 roughs along with 500k volume pots and 50s wired 715p .022uf orange drops and I got every sound I ever heard Gary Rossington pull off on Bernice his 59. .
