  • wow, larry emder appears to have looked in here. Didn't know he was still around. I actually only came by to perform some wanton vandalism but i've run out of ideas. I'll come back later.
So being in Sydney was a work necessity? Don't like being in the big smoke? Then again Newcastle is not really small, I guess.
lol, no, it's just a goofy mish mash of king buzzo, SunnO))) and my name. A friend came up with it and I've used it on boards for a while.
On a martial monkey note, besides working on BAji/Xing Yi lately, I'm thinking of digging into some Monkey style.
    There you go!

    thanks for reply
im using a washburn idol series 64, but soon ill be getting a sg custom.

my p.board, has a crybaby, bb plus xotic, eh holy grail plus, ISP decimator, eh soul preacher and a boss chorus & dd. almost done with the board, just need to add a couple of things.

i own a crappy amp at home just to practise on. when i jam with the band, i plug into a mixer and sometimes a roland cube. during live shows, i rent a marshall(JCM900)

ive been pming another guy on this forum who also has a distx. he claimed getting the rock sound outta it is doable because he did it using a marshall and an eq after the pedal.

about the sound i want, it doesn't have to be exactly like the 70s tone. atleast it can be just a normal modern rock distortion, i just don't want to discover after i buy it that it's too much.

but will an eq after it plus messing around with an amps settings solve any of this? or should i just forget about the distx and focus on the dist?

    thanks
