My jag bridge is too high on the E and e strings. Can I shim it underneath the middle saddles and then lower the whole bridge? Or is that not possible / going to cause other problems? The neck has rounder radius than the bridge.

This is the one I was looking at, kinda like a faux firebird for only $800. I guess the only thing to do would be to wait until I can find one in a store, but they don't seem all that common
