I just played on this Schecter c-1 E/A and I was wondering what this switch does. I use a schecter c/sh-1 and would I be able to put one of these switches into the guitar? and if so does anyone know how?

I'm thinking about getting a TS9 Tube Screamer Overdrive pedal for christmas. Is this an overdrive pedal that makes your amp sound like a tube amp? also, I'm wondering do I plug the TS9 through my effects loop or guitar to amp?
