  • Hi Jeremy, I'm getting the same problem as Stevie Bees. I can't post new threads but it doesn't affect my ability to reply to PMs. Something's broke in the works somewhere...

Jeremy, I'm having trouble starting a thread. I get to the submit bit, but instead of the confirmation message saying that I will be taken to my post it comes up with a blank white screen, with https://forum.seymourduncan.com/newthread.php?do=postthread&f=4 in the address bar.

I don't know if it might be my connection or whether there is a forum issue.

I've never had a problem posting before.

    Happy New Year and cheers!

    hi al,
i would use a neck version. it is possible to get a pup thats "too warm" but i still dont think youd loose the metallic sound of the resonator. i think the neck models of the sm1 or sm3 will sound really nice and shouldnt be too warm
    Hi Jeremy,

a couple months ago you answered a question I asked about a mini humbucker selection for an oscar schmidt resonator guitar. This guitar came with just one pickup in the neck position. Could a neck pickup (for example a SM-1 o SM-3) sound too "warm" in my guitar? I don't want to loose the "metallic bright" sound of the resonator. In your opinion, is it better a bridge pickup or neck version of a mini humbucker?

    Thank you very much.

    Al Dintrans

Ps: My apologies, my english is not good at all
    Hi Jeremy,

A couple of things. Did we get rid of that idiot trying to sell sex earlier today? Also, Could you delete my thread about old threads. I understand everyone elses POV and feel it's now irrelevent and contradictory to everything else!

    I Hope you are well.

    Regards,

    Phil C
