i have a 5e3 clone that i love. ive experimented a fair amount, and basically returned to stock but with .02 caps instead of the .1. a buddy has a tweedle dee type amp, following robs mods. it sounds great!

im a big fan of mini humbuckers and firebird pups in the neck and middle positions.

i dont think youd need to do anything. pos 4 wont be humcancelling cause you have an odd number of coils, but should be in phase

how is it wired now? typically people use neck pups in the middle, but there are no rules. if you want to get closer to a strat, then id stay with the neck. the neck and bridge models are rw/rp from each other but if you want two necks to be rw/rp, then i might ask if duncan can do it for you.
