Yea they are nice speakers. Mine are Heritages. My 4 x12 is tooi do love a 65 in the right amp!
Synergy /Syn 1 with a Killer Kali module thru a Carvin V3 on 50 watts thru a 4x12 Genz Benz cab , the V 3 has 3 channels, & the Syn 1 has 2 channels, so i have 5 channels but only use 3 =red channel on V 3( or sometimes the blue channel) & THE 2 on killer Kali..
Those things have a reputation that is well earned.fish and soldano preamp? dang! gotta love an amp that has a balls control![]()
Actually, fairly close. I did that same experiment with the X88 and Fish models out of curiosity. There is a difference in feel, and how the controls adjust sounds. The sound, can be dialed nearly identical (+ or - a small percetage), but a player can tell, and a listener can not. Very interesting stuff. I got the AX-FX for strictly effects and midi, but it is fun to play with. It's far better than expected going head to head with the real things. How do they compare to the Soldanos in the Axe?

Interesting...has the sterling got a similar neck profile to the MM lukes?Yeah, that purple looks fantastic in the sun. I eventually sold mine as I bought a Music Man Silhouette Special that covers the same ground, and has a neck profile that I like a lot better.
