I went and got some new caps for the Vase after procuring a circuit for the 100 watt model. The only diff I can find between it and the 80 Watt version is a few components in the power supply. I've upgraded it to the 100 Watt PS.

I had a small crackle in one channel after doing that. Turns out a couple of components must've been touching. I moved a few bits slightly and now it's gone. I've just got to find some more excuses for not doing a sound clip of the Stag Mag and the Fridge magnet pup and the NEO/Fe Hybrid (0 0)

Yes, us old folk like our pedals like the Rangemaster and the Hawk Booster .... both pedals that originally didn't have a footswitch because we were to stoned to be able to find the pedal on the floor or to be able to operate the footswitch. So they were made to go on top of the amp and be left on all the time.

Plus now of course it will be easier to read the writing with the pedal on the amp. 4 knobs is a lot to keep tabs on for a doddery old luddite like myself. Which reminds me, i need to get back to the bench and finish my Rangemaster clone. I wanna hear that germanium. If it sounds good, i'll go to the flower shop and buy a whole bunch.

Yup, too much rain here, and moisture in the air even when it's not raining. Single-digit temperatures at night here now too. Not condusive to my project.

I tried to PM ya but yer box is full apparently. I'm chasing a Custom to make the 59/Custom bridge for me project. I plan to use an A4 magnet to match the neck pup you sent and i have a new set of gold pole pieces for it. If i could find a cream 59 coil i could have double cream and use an open-top cover, maybe even a double-screw, double cream jobbie.

It's handy being able to do it online. That's mainly how I found my house.
