100 watt Kustom PA head

hey i saw this amp at a garage sale with a 2x15 tall cabinet for 75 bucks
and i got it, it is 4 channels and they each have seperate inputs, seperate reverb, bass, treble, and volume levels and it has no master volume.

its a pa head but i read it could also be used as a guitar head
so i plugged it in and i started playing and it only has clean of course but man it sounds really good, i played it thru my behringer tho not thru the old cabinet cause i think the speakers are blown. and another thing, whenever someone touches me when im playing it they get shocked(not a deathly shock but a nice zap) and so do i..i think its not grounded right or something. how could i fix that?

well anyway, does anybody know how much this head would cost these days?
i like it and all but its just improbable cause i can only use it for cleans

thanks,
-sam

mine is like the one in the picture
except instead of blue its black

Oh, boy, you picked yourself out a winner. And yes, you were right to use your guitar through it. The PA, Guitar and Bass tuck'n'rolls are all the same except for the channels. I have myself an old Kustom III bass head and it sounds AMAZING.

What I suggest doing it taking that thing in to a shop to have 'em check it out, inside & out, for shorts and such. It'll probably run about 45-200 dollars to get it fixed (if the problems actually a short in the ground) and then you'll have a nice, sturdy, reliable amp.

Is it SS or tube? I'm assuming it's an SS.
