10db Boost Question

My Les Paul has a 10 dB boost on the Super 57 pup. If I swap that with a WLH bridge, will I lose the boost feature?

Hard to say without looking at a diagram, but my guess is that the preamp which provides the boost is separate from the pickup. So you *should* be fine.

Thank you Mincer. It’s an Epi Les Paul and the boost is activated by pulling on the bridge tone knob. I’d like to keep that feature if I swap the pup.

Providing a couple good pics of your control cavity will let us know for sure, but my guess is that the boost is totally separate from the pup. Replacing the Super 57 with another pup should retain the boost effect.
