12-String pickups - any suggestions?

I'm looking to upgrade my Yamaha Pacifica 12-string pickups and could do with some advice on what to go for.

Basically I want to get a jangly Byrds style tone, one with clarity and depth but still with the power to make an impact.

What do you suggest?

Welcome to the Forum!

You have the Strat style 12 with 3 singles, right? For that, I would go with a quality vintage style single coil. Either the SSL-1's or the APS's would do the trick.

My vote, vintage rails, no string alignment problems, lower string pull, and no noise ... plus a good bit of *jangle*...

Hot Rails, and only play speed metal or thrash punk. Then you'd be 100% insane, y'know?
