18v EMG mod...

So I've been seeing this mentioned more often, and wondered if anyone could explain how to do it. I'm assuming that since Metal Live Wires are 18v, and sound huge, its going to have a similiar effect on EMGs...

you need an extra 9v battery connector. connect the negative of the first battery to the positive of the 2nd battery (or vise-versa). then use the positive and negative that are left over and connect them as if they were a single battery in there, how its suposed to be wired like. hope you understand, i suck at explaining things
