No, it is just the 1960 model which IIRC was a guitar center special or something.
It isn't worse, and some want the thinner neck, I am only objecting to shops who take the cheaper model and price it higher than the more expensive models.

That's not correct at all.
There was a GC limited R0 but they were not any Cheever or lesser than a non GC R0 and in addition to that the one in the clip isn't one of those anyway.

My buddy has the G0. I've played it several times and it's a really nice guitar. Bear in mind, he took out the stock pickups and had some custom wound pickups installed, the name of which I can't recall.
You never know, though...you may find that when you finally have all the money you need to get the guitar you want, you may not even want a Les Paul. I've always been a die hard LP/LP-style guy and swore I'd buy another when I have the money to spend on one, then I started looking at EB/Musicman, and now I really want either a MM Axis or a John Petrucci 7 string Majesty in that "Polar Noir" finish they're doing now. And oddly enough I've always hated 7 string guitars.

Cool. I was wondering about the pickups, but I'll know once I get whatever guitar I find and plug it into the Marshall.
As far as what guitar I will wind up getting. I've been looking for a long time and have gotten tired of the shredder guitars. Some look nice with cool specs but have EMGs which I don't want while others are just blah or pretty cool but a signature model. This is what made me start looking at Les Pauls. Next will be a Strat then a Tele and most likely a Gretsch. Right now I have an 87 Charvel 3A, a 91 RG with a custom Warmoth neck, a Jackson Soloist, EBMM JP6 2007 LE and a Schecter Damien Elite 8.
I'm going old school.
